Prizes
The Novo Nordisk Foundation has a long tradition of giving scientific honorary awards and prize lectures.
Applications are not accepted for honorary awards. The decision is taken by specially appointed prize committees. Each prize has its own objective and committee.
The Novo Nordisk Prize has been awarded since 1963 (until 1989 as the Novo Prize).
