The Novo Nordisk Foundation hereby calls for applications for research projects in art history.

It is possible to apply for funding for an independent project or a clearly described part of a larger project in the area of art history research. Projects that can contribute to expanding research in art history are also eligible for grants. The majority of the research must be carried out in Denmark.
DKK 1 million is available, and grants will be awarded in mid-March 2010.

The application form and detailed guidelines will be available on the Foundation's website,  from 14 December 2009. Apply for Grants

Applications are to be completed using an Internet-based application system and submitted electronically to the Foundation no later than 4 p.m. on 1 February 2010.
